The rules for using Command .Net and this website.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Command .Net (the "game") and the website at vettechhomefront.com (the "site"), provided by VetTech Homefront LLC ("VetTech Homefront," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the game or the site, including signing in with Discord, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
What we provide
VetTech Homefront operates this website and Command .Net, a text based fog of war command game. The game is offered for personal, non commercial entertainment, and it may be provided as a demo or a work in progress. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Command .Net, and you must meet Discord's own minimum age requirement when you sign in with Discord. By using the game, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
Your account and Discord sign in
Command .Net may let you sign in with your Discord account. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your Discord login secure. We are not responsible for losses caused by someone else using your account. We may suspend or remove access that violates these Terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the game or site for anything unlawful;
- disrupt, attack, or overload our systems;
- try to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account;
- reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the game except where the law allows it;
- use bots or automated tools to scrape or abuse the service.
You agree to play fair and not to use cheats or exploits that ruin the experience for other players.
Intellectual property
The site, the Command .Net game, and all related content, design, text, graphics, names, and marks are owned by VetTech Homefront LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non transferable license to use the site and game for their intended purpose. You may not copy, sell, or redistribute them without our written permission.
Third party services
Command .Net relies on third party services, including Discord, Netlify, and Google. Your use of Discord is also governed by Discord's own Terms and Privacy Policy, and if anything in these Terms conflicts with them, Discord's terms control for that use. We are not responsible for third party services, and any links to other websites are provided for convenience only.
Disclaimers
The site and Command .Net are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the game or site will be uninterrupted, error free, or secure. Anything on the site is for general information and is not professional advice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VetTech Homefront LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the game or site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the service.
Termination
You may stop using the game or site at any time. We may suspend or end your access at any time, with or without notice, including for any violation of these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the game and site change. We will post the updated version on this page with a new date. If you keep using the game or site after a change, that means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the service will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Ohio.
