How we handle your information in Command .Net and on this website.
This Privacy Policy explains how VetTech Homefront LLC ("VetTech Homefront," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Command .Net (the "game") and the website at vettechhomefront.com (the "site"), including when you sign in with Discord. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the game or the site.

Information we collect
Discord account information
When you choose to sign in with Discord, Discord shares the account information you authorize: your Discord user ID, username, global display name, and avatar. If you grant the email permission, we also receive the email address on your Discord account. We never receive or store your Discord password.
Gameplay information
When you play Command .Net while signed in, we store your in game progress, callsign, rank, and saved games so they carry between sessions and devices.
Messages you send us
If you use a contact or bug report form, we collect what you provide, such as your name, email address, and your message, so we can respond.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools record technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the page that referred you.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site and the game. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data, including IP address and pages viewed, and processes it on Google's systems. You can opt out across all sites using Google's browser add on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking cookies in your browser. Google further describes how it uses data from sites and apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Our pages are served by Netlify, which may set cookies needed to deliver and secure the site.
How we use your information
- To run Command .Net, identify you, and save your progress.
- To respond to your messages and bug reports.
- To keep the game and site secure and working properly.
- To understand and improve how the game and site are used.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third party advertising.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the game and site, and only as needed for them to do that work:
- Discord, for account sign in, when you choose to use it.
- Netlify, for website hosting and form handling.
- Google Analytics, for usage measurement.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
This policy covers how we handle your information. It does not change Discord's own Privacy Policy or Terms, which govern how Discord handles your information.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and bug reports as long as needed to handle your request and for our records. We keep your Command .Net account and progress while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can disconnect Discord and ask us to delete your Command .Net account, and you can opt out of analytics as described above. To make a request, email ron@vettechhomefront.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and we will honor those rights where they apply to you.
Children's privacy
Command .Net and the site are not directed to children under 13, and Discord itself requires every user to be at least 13, and older in some countries. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No website or online service is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the game and site change. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above. If you keep using the game or site after a change, that means you accept the updated policy.
